Daniel James "DJ" Tamer Scholarship Fund
 In honor of D.J.'s life and his distinguished academic success, a scholarship fund has been created that will annually help provide financial support for one extremely qualified student from Lawrence North High School to attend an accredited university or college of their choice.

Announcements
June, 2009 -- The next likely event is the annual August Birthdays Party, August 15th, at Greg and Janners. In addition to celebrating D.J.'s birthday, we will also remind Greg Sr., Angela, and Mary that they live in a zoo, look like monkeys, and smell like ones too. Oh, and Nathan as well!

2009 Scholarship Fund Recipient - Steven Hightshue
2009 Lawrence North High School graduate, Steven Hightshue, has been awarded the second Daniel James "DJ" Tamer scholarship, receiving $2,000. He will attend Indiana University in the fall to study French, Spanish, and International Studies.
In addition to his outstanding academic achievement, Steven lettered in soccer and diving, earned the rank of Eagle Scout with three palms, was Mr. Lawrence North his junior year, is a Wells Scholar Finalist, and was the founder and organizer of High Five Friday at Lawrence North High School.

You can still download the mp4s I have linked, and I'm hoping to find the time to trick the system and have our videos viewable again. Get Busy Living

 The next time you drive by a 7-Eleven, we encourage you to stop in and grab a nice, brain-freezin' Slurpee. While D.J. almost daily downed a 44 oz. Coke Slurpee, we're sure he wouldn't mind you enjoying any size or flavor.
